Have you thought about what you might do with any cockerels you end up with? Straight run chicks tend to be more males

If either of the Brahmas are cockerels, a vet I work with who breeds chickens for both eggs and meat has already offered to take them, or I may decide to have a friend process them for me.
The bantams...well. They'll be very noisy yard floofs.

We definitely discussed this (and also the possibility of pullets turning out to be cockerels) before getting any chicks.
