Groton Chick Momma
In the Brooder
Hi!
Newbie here, have wanted chickens for awhile but needed to get to a point where raising chickens fit in to our family.
Happy that we've made it and purchased our first six chickens July 8! 2 Barred Rock, 2 Brahma, and 2 RI Red!
I'm amazed how fast they have grown. They each have their own attitude and talk quite a bit.
Today we decided to stop in TS and check out their selection of chicks.
We left with 6 new chicks- 2 Polish, 2 Asian Blue and 2 Concord Black!!
I wanted the Polish, I've never heard of the other two breeds, hubby wanted them!
So we'll see how this goes, love sitting with the chickens and new chicks.
I wonder how the will all get along once introduced in many weeks ahead.
