Hello! I'm a new chicken mom of about 6 months in Massachusetts! We have 7 hens and a rooster right now. I'm very interested in learning what breeds they are (pretty confident one is a Plymouth Rock, but not sure about the others.)

I'm looking forward to learning lots of great tips for caring for my feathered friends. My spring goal? To hatch some chicks from my own flock! Tips and advice welcome 😊.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I see a Gold Laced Wyandotte, two Easter Egger pullets and likely your cockerel is an Easter Egger too and the buff could be an Orpington. I don't see your PBR.
My PBR was an outstanding mother. I gave her 4 eggs to set, she hatched three.

Welcome. I’m a new Mom too, my fall chicks haven’t started laying yet.
