Hi All!!

I have recently gotten 4 girls - only been a chicken momma for a week now. I have 2 Buffs and 2 Easter Eggers. They have been fun so far and I have been learning a lot! I did not realize chickens loved the rain so much! Every question I have had so far I have found answers here

Glad you could join the flock! Chicken keeping really is lots of fun and the chicken TV is fantastic. I love sitting out with mine and watching them go about their business. I think they love the rain because it brings worms up to the surface -

they love them, I don't - squishy, icky.

They do love their worms - mine went for this chap and tore him to pieces rather sad actually as they have quite beautiful wings.

They were jumping all over the place to catch him.
