Hey all. I'm officially a Chicken Nanny as of this past Friday evening when I received my 4 girls. I have a brand new coop courtesy of my son and his carpenter skills and the girls are getting settled in their new digs. I have 2 Buff Orpingtons ( Pirahna and Sparkle), 1 Light Brahma (Zebra) and 1 Red Partridge Rocks (Fluffy). I have 2 grown children with spouses and a total of 3 small grandchildren (they named the chickens, by the way). My other interests are practicing yoga, quilting, reading and working in my yard. I will post pictures of my new incredible coop after I finish up a few minor details. I have explored this site in preparation for my chickens and have found a lot of very helpful information. I especially love seeing pictures of the awesome coops and have used them for inspiration for my own.
