New chicken owner! Best decision EVER!!

Hi to all! This year we decided to add chickens to our list of animals, and it has been the best decision EVER!!! We got 6 barred rock, 6 RIR, and 4 amaracana! They follow us around and sit with us out back enjoying the weather and abundance of little bugs! My dogs still have an issue with them so If anyone has any ideas on how to get them to share the property so there are no bird casualties that would be awesome!!!
