I'm picking up my 6 chickens Thursday morning. I have a coop with an attached run ready. Where do I place my birds when I bring them home? Can they use the run? Then can they free roam?

Can they go in the run? It's attached to the coopWhen you get them, you can go ahead and put them in the coop (assuming you do not have any other birds). I'd keep them in their for about 2 weeks so they know that is their home before letting them free range.
Do you have pictures of your setup. I'd let them use the run so they can get used to their new surroundings. Can they go in the run? It's attached to the coop
If you have a run and coop attacked, I would put them in the run in the daylight, and check at dust, to make sure they have all found the coop. If some are outside, just put them in the coop on the floor and shut the door. Let them out in the morning.
Depending on where you are heat may build up in the coop, so I never lock mine in the coop during the daylight. Chickens are more susceptible to heat than to cold.
I am a bit worried - how big is your coop? Many times new people come on here, they get 6 chickens because the pre-fab chicken house says it can hold 6 chickens and they really can't, they are just not big enough for 6 full grown, full size birds.
