New chicken owner on East Coast US

Hi! I'm brand new to chicken! We got 5, one for each member of our family I have 3 children ages 6-10 so this has been a really fun project for all of us and we are looking forward to some eggs as bonus! I also love small veggie gardening, running, traveling and speaking Spanish and learning languages. This site has been super helpful so far, so thank you!
