How/when do I worm my girls? I would like to do it as soon as they are able. Is there a worming schedule to follow? Just want to make these little girls as healthy as possible!

You don't need to worm them at all. Only worm them if they actually get sick and you start seeing worms. I've had a backyard flock for 3 years now and haven't had to worm them yet.

not worming won't affect the eggs? All I could find was that when you worm, you throw away eggs for a couple of weeks. Then found someone who worms twice yearly with two products. So confusing! I also read that if wormy you can find worms in the eggs? Gross! That's what freaked me out.

I worm mine in the spring and fall. I don't wait until one or more get sick. It is a personal preference and everyone does things differently. You just choose what you would like to do and if it's to worm, find the deworming medication that suits you. I like Wormazole, it gets almost everything and just follow the directions on how much and whether or not to throw the eggs away for awhile or not. Do your research, you will find almost all the info you need on here. Good Luck and welcome.
