New chicken owner

Hi, I have been on the BYC website many times over the past year and finally realized I should join. My husband and I live in Acworth, Georgia, the suburbs of Atlanta. We're on less than an acre of land so we have true backyard chickens and are loving it! We built a great hen house with secured run (we have coyotes) right next to our deck so we can enjoy them and feed them without even leaving our deck. We have 3 hens; Buff Orphington, Barred Rock and an Easter Egger. They are 4 months old and we were surprised this weekend while cleaning our their hen house I found 7 eggs!!
