we just purchased a house with 5 acres this spring and my husband couldn't wait to get chickens! Within two weeks he bought 6 and I purchased many since then. We have three hens laying now, and many to come. Currently we have 15 pullets and three cockerels. Two barred rock, two buff Orpington, a black astraulorp, a lavender Orpington, two Delaware, four cream legbar, three Easter eggers, a black lace wyndotte, and two black sex links and are in love with them all!
