New chicken owner

Hello! I’m a first time chicken owner with 3 Silver-laced Wyandots, 3 Australorpes and 1 mystery bird that came free with the others.

They are 2 weeks old and seem to be doing great. One of them has a slightly hooked beak. She’s eating fine, growing with the rest, so I’m keeping an eye on her for now.

So far I love having chickens and watching how fast they grow!

I had a crossed beak. She was special. She ate crumbles ok. She was killed by a fox not long ago and was 3 years old. I had to trim her beak once in awhile. I used the pet claw clippers and a good emery board.
