new chicken owner

I have 7 4wk old buff orphingtons and 5 3wk old silkie chicks. This is the first time I have ever raised chickens. The buffs seem to be somewhat friendly and the little silkies are a bit skiddish. They are straight run. I just moved them into their coop a week ago and everyone's getting along fine. The 2 breeds were in my garage in their brooders side by side from the time I bought them. They were approx. 4 days old when I brought them home.

My question is how long do I keep the heat lights on them?

Well if you go by the rule of 95 degrees at the start and drop 5 degrees each week they should be fine in 80 degree temps.
