New Chicken People

Hello everyone! My husband and I have started on our next adventure (first planting all kinds of vegetables in our new garden) which is my new babies! We picked up six beautiful chicks today, 4 easter eggers, 1 ISA, and 1 Rhode Island Red. We are prepping to finish the coop this weekend and hopefully by the end of next month they will be ready to move to their new home! I look forward to sharing our story here and getting help from everyone and helping too!

Unless your weather has warmed up, chicks are generally not put outside until they are fully feathered out.

I live in south jersey and our weather keeps bouncing back and forth (felt like June on Friday felt like march yesterday) so it will be a guessing game.

Welcome to BYC. I agree our weather has been on a real roller coaster. It's supposed to be pushing 90 by next weekend.
