Well, I tried to post to new members but got where it said thread was stopped...so anyway...after culling 2 crazy Red Star hens this weekend we have 11 Red Star hens 1 year old and they are psychotic, 4 black and 4 buff....which are the sweetest hens and super mothers. When I was growing up I don't remember the chickens acting bizare...anyway...our world is shared with 17 cats...all rescues...and very sweet....5 dogs...all rescues and very sweet and protected....and the those chickens...the first year they were the best...anway we can't now imagine our life without chickens and hope to add goats to the mix soon ...blessings Alisa in VA
