new chicken problem!

hello, I just introduced a new Sussex pullet (perry) to my flock of three, and they absolutely hate her! Most of my pullets are very aggressive, and even the calmest one tries to attack. I LOVE perry, she is calm, and definitely not a fighter, and i whould do anything to keep her in my flock. please help, I will take any advice.

Introducing 1 is usually harder than introducing 2.... Hiding spaces and dividers work wonders.... Normally it takes about two weeks ... I've never tried introducing just 1... Maybe somebody else will chime in that's introduced 1...... My 5 older girls still don't really like my SS and it's been months.... They tolerate her... They get along better with my SLW and she's the youngest... It's strange. Lol

They probably don't hate her, it is just that the pecking order takes time to get re-established. Up to about 3 weeks. Keep an eye on her to make sure it isn't getting bloody, but otherwise nature has to kinda take its course. Not fun. =( Make sure to provide extra food and water dispensers so that if she is being kept away, she has a chance to get some.

thankyou so much! Perry is still getting pecked, but i have decided to wait at least a week for the girls to get used to her.
