This is our new chicken tractor. What do you think?!

Any ideas on how to make it portable? It is pretty darn heavy!

A crude but simple method is pipe. 4 pieces of 2 inch diameter or so pipe, a little wider than your coop. Raise your front to get the 1st piece of pipe under it. Keep pushing and putting pipe under the the front. Once your 1st pipe comes out the back, place it back in the front. I have moved buildings and many other things with this method.

As narrow as it appears to be a couple of sections of one or two inch PVC to roll it on as the above poster suggests would be easy and simple to do.

At the same time however it's very tall for its apparent width so you're going to want to consider it's stability in high winds.

I would just add 4 small tires like for a go cart or do like i did and use 4 front lawnmower tires. set the height where it will round with tires pumped up and use a portable tank to air them up during the move and let the air out once its where u want it. This works great for and my run 14ft by 24ft....
