New Chicken Tractor

My husband Dave took some scrap wood and made me a chicken tractor. The chicks now have all the fresh grass they want without tearing up the whole yard.

I see that they have water DO YOUR CHICKENS HAVE ACCES TO GRIT?? Grass is not a hard substance like seeds,, but grit is still needed in chickens' gizzard to grind down those greens.

Thanks, yes, they have grit - it’s just not in these photos. They only stay in this for about an hour a day. They have their yard and coop the rest of the time.
