new chickens AND old flock

So my flock is established and I want NEW fluffly butts.

So, I am going shopping for some new chicks. I will keep them separate until they are about 5 months old.

My question is - - Then HOW DO I MERGE the NEW CHICKENS with the OLD FLOCK ? ?

Does everybody just build a new run for the new gals or do you advice for a successful merge?
