New chickens should be laying.. but no eggs :(

Hello all
My hens are between 19-21 weeks old. Not one has layed an egg. I am concerned . Is there such a thing as sterile hens? What are the odds that all 7 of my hens of 3 different varieties are all sterile? Any suggestions or wisdom would be helpful.
I am reminded that a watched pot never boils.. but come on..

They may just need more time. Sometimes hens don't start laying until more like 25 weeks. And with the weather changing with fall it may take a little longer because of that.

Ok . I just am worried because most days they are out of the coop. Should I set up a nesting box in the bushes so they have a place to lay during the day?
