Hello fellow Texans and everyone else. Today was a good day for me, I had been looking around for chickens here in central Texas but never really found what I was interested in. I looked on Craigs list and found a place in Waco which is right at 54 miles from my house called "Mother Cluckers Hen House" after looking at what she had, I was impressed at her stock and prices, Her name is Dana Smotherman, I talked to her a while then ordered 7 total, 6 hens and 1 rooster a few days ago. She had them picked out and ready today when me and the wife got there. Well, I liked what I saw so much I ended up buying 13 hens and 1 rooster. I guess the old saying their is a sucker born every minute could hold true but I'm extremely happy with what I got, I just couldn't resist them. And they should start laying in a couple or three weeks. Have a blessed one everyone !
