New chicks came home today. They've slept all day. Normal?

This morning I brought home my first chicks. I got them from a local farm store but they were delivered from Mt Healthy yesterday. I assume they are very tired and stressed from being mailed.

Since I brought them home they've been sleeping almost the entire time. They ate for a few minutes and then went back to sleeping. I haven't seen any drink or explore their brooder.

When should I be concerned? Do they just need a long rest to recover from travel?

It is very normal for young chicks to sleep a lot but if you want you can give your chicks some organic apple juice or if you don’t have any chop some apples up add a little water and pop them into the microwave for a minute then give the chicks the juice. The sugar in them energy (I would think it’s much better than giving plain sugar water) and there are also B vitamins in it!
