I have 25 new broilers. They are 8 days old. Yesterday I came in to check at noontime and one was dead. This morning another one. They came from a reputable hatchery - vaccinated. They are still drinking the "booster" water (I have one runt). Eating starter feed that I sprinkle a bit of tiny grit on. Clean, dry pine shavings 4" thick. I have other hens and a rooster, but obviously the babies are in a building in an expandable pen. Only had chickens a few years, and this is the first time raising meat birds. Anyone have any ideas?? Please??

What is the color of their droppings? I think that it can be a case of Coccidia, you should treat them with liquid Corid
9 cc per gallon for 5-7 days.

The color is fairly dark brown. They were vaccinated for coccidiosis and mareks. They would still get cocci?? Thanks for helping :)

There is no way I can get them on a wire cage :l Their feet are hot. I will start cordid tomorrow.:/
