I sincerely apologize for the many photos! But my husband and I are having a hard time figuring out the breeds of our babies.

Nope! That's part of the reason we are having a hard time. We spent literally hours last night looking at breeds and had some ideas but then another breed would look the same as chicks.

1- no guess
2- Buff laced polish
3- Gold laced polish
4- should be barred
5- most likely a blue bird
6- no guess
7- silver laced (wyandotte)
8- no guess

Sorry I don't have more definite answers. Once they start to feather it will be a lot easier.

Many possible breeds: Welsummer, Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex being a few.

#2 I know it is one of the "poofy heads"
Polish - possibly white.

#3
Another Polish - not sure on the color. Could be a gold laced or maybe partridge.

#4
Too many different options - could be a Marans, Barred Rock, Dominique...

Kind of looks like my Egyptian Fayoumi chick or maybe a Silver Campine.

Same as the first. Probably Easter Egger if it has poofy cheeks.

Is this a hatchery assortment? Did they tell you which breeds they could be picked from?

Thank you! I told him the same thing about just waiting so we would know for sure, but my husband is extremely impatient and insisted that I try for help on BYC

Yes, it is a straight run special from Murray McMurray. But not a single thing telling us the breeds or "possible" breeds.
