new chicks have worms?

I am a new chick owner. Their poop looks like it has worms in it. Small yellow ones. I am feeding them Purina Mills Medicated starter/grower and baby grit. Do I need to deworm them? and what do I use?

Have they been on the ground? If not, it's probably not worms. Are they moving in the poop?

Any chance of a photo? Exactly how old are they?
Can you contact supplier to see what might be wrong?
Are they confined to brooder where you can control their diet?

My chicks are 2 weeeks old. It does seem to have gotten better. They are in a brooder so they have not been outside. ( until today for an hour) I think it may have been the food. Are all chicks born with worms like kittens or puppies?

No, most chicks would come to you worm-free unless raised in worm-contaminated facilities.

yes if the owners adult chickens have worms enerally round worms
chickens can even lay eggs with round worms in them
take sample to a vet and test what is in manure
