While I've read the forum quite a bit before I got my chicks and now, while they are growing, I'm just now posting an intro.
My fondested memories of growing up were playing with the RIR's we used to have. I used to walk around with them on my shoulders. I remember standing out in the shed- just watching them for the longest time when they were little fuzzy-butts under the heat lamp!
Now I've gotten the chicken bug again and ordered 11 chicks that were delivered on June 11th. They will be a month old this Thursday. They are growing so fast!
Here are some pics that I took. Too bad I didn't take more, as they grew out of that cute fuzzy stage SO fast!
