New chicks on the block

Just thought I'd show some picks of my new chicks..

I went to Meyer's Hatchery on Tuesday to pickup the 5 chicks I had ordered on Monday...somehow I came home with 7 babies, lol! You gotta love that chicken math!!

I have new EE's, 2 BCM, Buff Chantecler, and SLW. All doing well in our layer's coop. I sectioned off 2x5 area with hardware cloth and 2x4 framing. I have a heat lamp for them as it gets "cool" (60's) at night, but 90's during the day. It's funny how you forget all their cute antics when you haven't had peeps for over a year!
