new chicks to older hen

Have a pair of Black Copper Marans and the hen didn't want to sit so I hatched the eggs.
When should I put them in with the pair??
The Rooster is the biggest I have seen,puts my Americana to shame.

When they are big enough to handle the tumult of establishing the pecking order. That can vary a lot depending on how you do it and your set up.
