new chicks with momma

Hi every one , can anyone tell me when I can let my pekin bantam momma out of her coop with her 3 chicks to mix with my pekin bantam cockerel (the daddy), there are no other birds in their area I,m a bit concerned he might harm them as this is new to me

I think it depends completely on your cockerel/your hen. A good hen will defend her babies against flockmates. Some cockerels actively co-parent. Whenever you decide to take the plunge, make sure it is when you can be there to watch behaviors and intervene if necessary.
