new chicks with older hens

My R I red chicks are 4 weeks old and I intend to introduce them to my bigger hens at 6 weeks. I have 7 of them. I have divided my pen, but only one section leads into the hen house. What do you suggest I do for them at night? I have a little 3x3 house that I can put it the pen for a shelter, but it doesn't have a roosting bar and that's pretty small for 7 hens.The last time I did this, it only took 1 day and then everyone got along. Any tips you have will help I'm sure.

I would try and use the small house, as if they all get along smoothly they shouldn’t need to stay in there long. You could probably add a roost bar by screwing a strong stick to the walls.

Is your run/pen predator proof?
Give it a try with the small shelter.
Have a Plan B for bigger shelter if needed.
