New chicks wondering about breed mix

Had some chicks hatch today and wondering about sexing cream legbar crosses
First two hatched out of my cream legbar hens eggs so father must be my French copper Marans rooster can they be sexed? Or does the father have to be the cream to sex at this age?

Males should be black with a light dot on top of their head (I see one chick like that in one photo.) Females should be black with no light dot on top of their head (I see one chick like that too.)

The chick with large amounts of brown has me a bit puzzled: I do not think a Black Copper Marans rooster should be producing any chicks that color, no matter what kind of hens you are putting with him. Does that chick have a different father than the black ones do?

Your cross is the correct direction to make sexlinks: barred hen (Cream Legbar) with not-barred rooster (Black Copper Marans). Using a Cream Legbar rooster with Black Copper Marans hens would make chicks that cannot be sexed by color.

(If you actually have Blue Copper Marans rather than Black Copper Marans, it makes no difference in whether the chicks are sexable or not.)
