I have 5 hens, one of which has successfully hatched 4 chicks which are now 6 days old. I segregated mum and chicks immediately after hatching as the other birds were very agitated and were trying to attack the chicks. when can I release mum back into free range with the other birds and at what age can I safely allow the chicks to also enter the main group?
