When can I hold my new chicks and will the mom refuse them if I do hold them?

No, if the mother is all ready cooing to them and acting as a mother should, she will not reject them if you hold them.

I've never raised chicks under a broody, but in a regular brooder they can be handled quite a bit--I handled mine about two to three times a day, but probably could have done more. Just keep your sessions short--they need to stay warm for the first few days of life!

Good luck with them! Oh, and a big
