Hi Everyone,
My Ameracana and Wyandotte Bantam Hens have just hatched their first clutches of eggs, the first 9 out of 12 and the other 10 out of 11. I currently have them in their own brood boxes and give them supervised run sessions but need some advice on the best way to integrate them. I have 9 golden laced Wyandotte chickens living in a 8x10 shed with a 20x40 run and unfenced 2 acre yard. How do I begin to integrate my two clutches of chicks with each other and the rest of the flock in the most peaceful way? My Roo has already shown curiosity and then aggression towards a chick so I don't want to expose them to the flock yet. Will my two hens with chicks get along so I can attempt to keep them together but still separated from the rest of the flock?
This is my first year raising chicks naturally and would appreciate any advice so I can provide the best possible care for my flock.
