The little coop was just not doing it so I took a old shed I had and drug it over cut a door and built some nesting boxes I ( they are leaning against it) will get them installed tomorrow. Now they will have plenty of room..

Every time I see one of those gambrel roofed 'barn' sheds...I want do this with it:

I live in Maine WAY up the coast by Canada. We tend to go the other way and make our buildings tight for the long and cold winters.

How well does your run hold up against predators? I want to install automatic doors on the coops, but I need to make the yard safe from the 4 legged variety

That's good for people trying to hold heat in their houses,
but it doesn't translate to chicken coops...they need ventilation all year around.
