I've been reading posts and researching coop construction for a couple of months but this is my first post. I am nearly done with the construction of the coop and run, and I'll be getting my chickens once it is all set. I put the pictures on my profile page, here it is: (lots of pics)

If anyone has any advice based on what I've done already, I'd love to hear it.
When I get my chickens, I'm planning on getting them from a neighbor who has some extra roosters and the animal shelter, which has lots of birds. What is the best way to introduce birds which have not been together before? I do have a couple of cages I can use.
