Looking to construct a new "modified A-Frame" with the goal of 60ft2 of run. Below are a few general ideas we have come up with. Thoughts on either would be greatly appreciated. Main concerns we have are thoughts on the over all bight inside the coop space.

Bottom run would be 1/2" hardware cloth.
Top coop would be sided with vents, access doors and nesting boxes.

Please feel free to shoot questions, comments and any concerns with the design ideas.

Thanks in a dance for your input.

Welcome to BYC!

What is your climate?
It's an important consideration to most chicken questions.
Adding it to your profile is easy and most helpful.

Aframes are attractive because they seem easy to build and save om material,
but they are cramped for space for the birds and are not so easy to access for the keepers. A floor pop door takes up a lot of coop space.
How many birds do you plan on keeping?
