Hi there,

We moved 2 1/2 months ago, brought our 4, already laying hens with us and built them a new coop. The only difference is that we did not have a light (which they were used to) inside the coop. We had some light molting going on around that time by some of the hens, but otherwise everyone was laying. We now get 1, maybe 2 eggs a week.. Only one of the hens has been contributing. We put a light in a few weeks ago and leave it on at least 15 hours a day. The only other thing I can think of is that this new coop's run goes underneath the coop as well and is pretty dark..that's all I got..
Does anyone have ideas of what can be going on? I'm so bummed,

ps. We live in Missouri and the weather has been pretty dang good thus far.

thanks so much!
