New Coop on Progress!

I am in the process of building a new coop. Yay, me!

Here's my Inspo pic. I just snagged it off the internet (credit to the owner) because this is 8' x 8' like my new coop and it fits my needs... almost.

I have 2 isolation pens that I plan to put under the poop boards. The problem is that then the lowest roost would be about 2 and a half feet off the ground. I have some big birds and some old birds. Will a ladder or ramp (like in the pic) be enough for my old girls? Other suggestions?

My older ladies prefer chairs, wood stumps or small benches to ladders. I have a wood round in the coop now, works great.

I love that! I can easily put some of different heights in the new coop. And it'll look cute, too! Thanks!

How many chickens do you have in total? Do you think that chicken math might strike on down the road, and if so, how much would your flock grow?

I'm good in that department. I've been doing this a while, and I actually have three coops with 25 hens and 3 roosters in total. I also have 3 guineas, 10 ducks, 2 geese, and a turkey.

This coop will house my main flock of 18 birds total.
