Guineas do not need a ramp to get in and out of their coop. We have a 15x24 pen for our birds. The birds free range during the day. At night they go back into their pen via a half door. My husband built the door so it is a full size man door so we can go in and out. However, he made the door so the top half drops down. During the day we open the top half of the door and the birds go in and out as they please. It works great because we have some chickens in that pen too.. But they can not fly out. Without a ramp from the outside that eliminates about half of the predators that would go after our birds during the day. The birds come in jusr before dusk every night. However, if we want them to come in sooner we have taught them if they come when called they will get meal worms.
All the best.
