New coop

The floor of our coop went up yesterday it's 12x16 with a small coop for babies and a small storage room. I can't wait for the walls to go up!!!

Awesome!! How exciting! What a nice size coop, how many chickens do you plan to end up with?

We have 81 in a brooder right now and will end up with probably 30-40. I will update pics, Friday is DH's goal to frame the walls

I think it is so exciting watching progress, We decided to go ahead and use the barn that was here when we moved in and we plan to get started this weekend.

I came home from taking my daughter to dance and he had the floor done. He was proud because I was floored, he has a tendency to um wait until the very last minute or get sidetracked lol

Sounds like mine lol he finds a chair and a can of beer and it's over. I have to give him credit though because he does do the work, but just doesn't mind taking a break.
