When it warms up, I will begin construction on a new run. One side will be an already existing building, another a barbed wire fence, and the last two will be lined with horse wire (six ft. tall). The barbed wire fence will also be lined with the same wire. The area is very large and will support around 20 chickens by the end of this coming summer. My question is, will I need any kind of roof on it? I'm getting a rooster also. Hopefully, I can get some pictures of the area soon.

It doesn't all need a roof, but you want enough roof so that the perch, and nest boxes stay dry.

You will also need a way to keep the feed dry.
