Thanks to the help of all the pics and ideas here I put this little ditty together all for $250. I went to buy the new baby chicks to put in it and the feed store said a new law was passed where I couldn't buy chicks, ducklings, or baby rabbits until after Easter. Something about people buying them just for novelty and setting them free when they're done with them. So next week it is. I will keep you posted on the progress. I saw a PVC feeder I might want to add. Thanks for the help! Cluck cluck!

. I would be soo antsy waiting for chickens to put in it... of course if you get chicks they will be in a brooder for 6 weeks anyways. Keep us posted.. would love to see some chick pictures!

It looks more dog than cat. That's what I'm going with anyway (I change my mind every time I look at the picture).

They look like production reds/red sex link. Are they from TSC? We got buffs from TSC that turned out to be leghorns. What they told us were production reds turned out to be buffs, and what they said were rir's turned out to be prod reds. We were all messed up for a while, until we started researching images and comparing. Yours look very similar to ours that ultimately ended up being production reds. It didn't matter to us what we had, it was just very confusing because nothing looked like it was supposed to. :)
