New Dog! (neighbors old dog, he kicked him out)

Our neighbor decided that he no longer wants his dogs, so he kicked them out. We took in the year old lab/pit mix.
He is pretty skinny right now, but we are working on that. He weighs 53 pounds and the vet said he would like for him to get to 60.
He is the sweetest dog ever! He is wonderful with our daughter and all the other pets.

He is cute, I have a dog that looks almost just like him. Why would someone just toss out a dog like that? I'm glad you gave him a good home.

He is such a joy

The other dog(yellow lab mix) is still running around. No one can get close enough to her to catch her.
But several other neighors are putting food out for her.

Thank you for doing that. Someone should kick the neighbor out with no food or place to stay!

I would report him to the sheriff and animal control. They will site him for neglect/abuse. Many neighbors that know where they live for evidence. Are they licensed, rabies, allowed to run at large etc.
