New Duck and Goose Mom!!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow

So glad you decided to join us. Congrats on the great duckling hatch! Make yourself at home here and if you have any questions about them along the way, be sure to ask.

Welcome to our community!

Hello, Renee, and welcome to BYC. Congratulations on a great hatch, and may I suggest moving them outdoors?
Hello. Our outdoor temps here in WI are under 35 deg F during the night and 40/50s during the day. This is the hut I had built. We have 5 acres for them to run when they are older. I think this weekend they will be moved to the heated garage-then outside when the temps go up or they feather. It has been fun but I agree, time for their living quarters to be elsewhere. LOL!

Chances are I am being over cautious.

Hi Renee, and welcome to BYC!! :frow

I'm in WI too and can't even get our 3-week-old chickens outside yet. After this weekend I think we're done with this cold weather!!

Hello! We got an inch of rain too so that will set things back a bit. It has been a never ending chilly, wet spring.
