New duck not laying

So exactly 1 week before Christmas I bought a Peking duck

The man I bought the duck off said that the duck was young but had been laying Pria to when I bought it

The duck suffers from wet feather but she's on the mend

However it hasn't been laying any eggs ? Isn't more than a week long enough for it to settle in ?

Whenever I'm letting the chickens and the duck out she keeps on quacking as if she's calling for a drake (I sold the last 4 ducks that I had) could this be why she's not settling in ?

Could someone give me a time period in which the duck should be laying in and if it doesn't lay in that slot I'll bring it back

It is very likely that she will not lay until spring. Unquestionably she is missing her flock or mate.
