New Duck Owner....need help!

My ducks and ducklings used to be terribly frightened of me at first. I think ducks in general really don’t like to be handled.

I think as they get older, they’ll calm down.

Routine is pretty important too. Same time outside every morning, same time in every night.

Try thawed peas (not canned). I bring a couple of cups to them mid morning and they come running at full speed to me.

You place looks great although you will probably lose them all being your pond is so heavily wooded from your house to it. It's a gorgeous setting but domestics that can't fly to get away from preds are just sitting ducks.

I'd keep them close to home with a kiddy pool and a nice house for protection especially at night.
