New duck parents!

It sounds like niacin deficiency Pekins need extra niacin
I would give him 1ml of vitamin B complex over a treat for the next week daily. I would Also start putting nutritional yeast 1 tbs to 1 cup feed till 10 weeks. It won’t hurt them and will make them grow strong legs
Do you have a tractor supply by you ?
@Miss Lydia can point you in the right direction for what to buy for the B complex
Hello again!
So I have been giving my duck the Vitamin B complex once daily for 5 days now, and have not seen much improvement 😕 how long can it take? The ducks are almost 5 weeks now, so he is getting pretty big and heavy - not sure if it’s too late to help him!? 😢

It can take weeks
Keep giving it to him
Swim therapy helps as well as they can gain strength in in the legs without the weight
@Miss Lydia may have more ideas as well

Ok thank you, I figured it might take some time. I let him swim daily and he does get his legs moving, so that’s good! I’ll keep working with him 🙂🤞🏼

That’s perfect
As long as he isn’t getting worse either getting better with baby steps or staying the same is ok
It takes time but they do recover
