I have a new crested duckling that hatched yesterday and can’t walk. We were surprised to have a crested duckling because we don’t have any. What can we do? I’ve been giving him nutri-Drench for supplements. I was hoping we would get up this morning and he would be walking around. He just kind of rolls around. I’ve never seen anything like this, does not look like splayed legs or wry neck. I’ve attached a video link from this morning.

OKAY this sounds like what was happening with the duckling in this video I'd try the treatment that was applied here.

such a precious little one. Try the sock in this video and try some Nutri drench drops just along the bill unless she is drinking then put it in her water too. But giving it to her straight for now.

Thank you so much, I have put little duck in the sock. Fingers crossed this will work!

Do you have a child's sock? that would make it tighter around the neck.
How's the little one doing?
No we don’t have any child’s socks. Maybe I ought to run to the store to pick up a pair. I’m able to get him to eat and drink. I’ve loaded him up on Nutri-drench and brewers yeast. His little legs are really strong, I just think it’s something to do with his brain. I’ve been googling all day but just haven’t seen anything like it.

The crest means there is only fatty tissue under it so no skull, but the crest doesn't look that big. So hopefully what is going on will stabilize in the next few days. Eating and drinking are good signs.

Ok so I took a dish and rolled it up into a donut and wrapped him up in it. He’s currently snugged in tightly and went right to sleep. Hopefully he will stay put all night. I hope this little guy makes it, my daughter has completely fallen in love with him and has named him peanut.

Hows little Peanut doing this morning?
you need vit E 400 mgs. Poultry Nutri drench or poly vi sol with out iron and selenium the selenium can come from scrambled eggs the Vit E prick the liquid capsule and put it over his eggs or feed. The Poultry Nutri drench you can give straight just tiny drops into the bill let him swallow and do it again.
