(1) Are you new to chickens ducks?
Yes! My babies hatched during Rosh Hashana! It was a very stressful weekend.

(2) How many ducks do you have right now?
Five! In hatch order: Bill, Mort, Wiggles, Puddles, and Butter.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I wish I knew!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard ducks?
I love feeding the babies grubs and I can't wait to have a lively, bug-free backyard!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I relax by crafting my own jewelry and tending to my garden.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a deaf pitty named Peanut who loves her little brothers and sisters.

hello and welcome. What cute ducklings you have there !!
They are pretty young for any treats, other than their starter feed . so if you are giving them anything besides the starter feed, they need a dish of chick grit next to their food bowl. They will take what they need. Otherwise they can’t digest the treats properly. And hopefully you are adding the nutritional yeast or brewers yeast that goes with the starter feed 1 tablespoon per cup that will get them off to a good start!
